Currently my training centers around a lot of drills of which I document the results. IPAT is a great foundation and starting point and I am currently allocating 1 year to each section but will remain flexible in this approach. My plan is to pass each level at least 3 times before moving on to the next section.
Denny Stewart of the Ohio Pool School is a great coach and I am happy to be working with him again every week.
I practice drills for 2-3 hours per day and am currently working on incorporating more match play into my routine. I play in APA masters once a week as well.
For mechanics and stroke straightness this has been a huge help. I work with this for at leas 7 continous minutes twice a day. ( It doesn’t sound tough but by the end I guarantee your arm is on fire) It is just my opinion but I believe 90% of missed shots are due to problems with your storke…
Paper Matches- I have also incorporated 25 paper practice games into my weekly routine. This helps a great deal with pattern play and tip position.
Taking Denny’s advice I use Mika Immonen’s pro- shot glove every time I practice.

Focused practice, tracking results, working on fundamentals, throwing in occasional matches…sounds like you are on the right track! Good luck in your journey!!
Thanks Michael yep, trying. You too! I have to say what has helped me the most is the coaching because it helps me get 2nd hand perspective and a heck of a lot of info.
